Totally get that — I had a similar situation when I first switched to a standing desk monitor stand https://www.progressivedesk.ca/collections/monitor-stands. What helped me was using a combo of adhesive cable clips on the back of the desk and some simple Velcro ties. Also, the stand I got had a little routing channel that kept things from dangling. Not perfect, but it cut the mess in half at least.

One thing I’ve noticed over time is that no matter how neat your setup starts, it slowly turns into spaghetti if you don’t check on it every so often. I just did a cable cleanup last weekend and found three random USBs I haven’t used in months.
