Jungian analyst Joseph Henderson noted that in depth work, when people recognize numinous experience emerging, they tend to construe it selectively through either a religious, philosophical, aesthetic, or social attitude drawn from culture. In this first Myth Salon of 2022, Dr. John Beebe will demonstrate that we also create these attitudes anew by stretching the range of our psychological consciousness and how the attitude that then emerges will affect the way we understand the myth. Dr. John Beebe, a past president of the C. G.
