Myth Salon Tribute for Thich Nhat Hanh

Changes are the language of the manifestations of existence. The world once inhabited by the gracious nature and wisdom of Thích Nhất Hạnh was transformed last Saturday by his passing. Thay’s philosophy of “interbeing,” which holds that we should regard ourselves as interconnected parts of the fabric of life rather than as separate entities, has been an important influence on many of us. It evokes the universal nature of the Tao’s oneness and is a core construct of Buddhism.
In response to the life of Thích Nhất Hạnh, we are holding a special Tribute to Thay today, Wednesday January 26 at 5PM Pacific. Rather than cite the accomplishments this gentle Vietnamese monk brought forth over the course of his lifetime in this email, this link will transport you to his obituary:

I am mindful that it is extremely short notice. However, our intention is to respond in a timely manner to serve those the community who has place in our hearts for Thích Nhất Hạnh. Our tribute will be guided by Dr. Gard Jameson, who teaches Eastern Philosophy and Religion at UNLV, and open to sharing from the community of love and compassion.
